Requiem for Eternity is a mystery/horror comic set in a somewhat dark fantasy world very loosely inspired by a mix of Central/Eastern European folklore and gothic literature. Our unlikely protagonists are sent to locate the records of a man who had been documenting his life in a remote, isolated village of great interest to the ruling powers of the Empire. Interested in how their mission will unfurl, how their relationships with the locals and between each other will develop, and why the forces at hand would even be interested in this village? Well, stop looking for spoilers and go experience the actual story as intended!
This comic is brought to you by a team of two people who really enjoy storytelling and art. It is utterly and completely AI-free: art is one of the most human activities out there, we like our planet, and we cherish being capable of independent thought. There is not, unfortunately, a set schedule: both of us are current physics majors, and university leaves relatively little time to be able to estimate any proper deadlines (who knows what will happen when we graduate, though!). What free time we do have, we will try our best to dedicate to this project. You might see some silly doodles in-between/after chapters depicting the illustrious illustrator (featureless little guy, Mr Salamander) and me, the person writing this nonsense (crow), since both of us find the manga-style author notes fun and exciting.
